The Wall of Remembrance is two sided concrete wall measuring 50’ long by 7’ tall. Black Granite Memorial Plaques, 8.5” x 11” will be placed on the wall until covered. The wall will hold approximately 800 plaques to honor our veterans and service members. Every plaque displayed on the Wall of Remembrance will tell the individual stories of ordinary Americans who have served in extraordinary ways throughout the decades – both on the battlefront and on the home front – essential to ensuring their stories are told and preserved for future generations. Park benches set in front of the Wall of Remembrance to provide visitors a spot to sit and reflect.  The American, State of Mississippi and POW/MIA flags are displayed by the Wall of Remembrance. The “Battlefield Cross” that symbolizes the honor, service and sacrifice of soldiers killed in battle is displayed in front of wall.
